Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over your data. We do not sell your data.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account info: your email address and (optionally) display name.
  • Content you submit: documents, text, photos, and voice clips need for translation and will be discarded immediately after.
  • Usage data: features used, error logs, approximate device info to keep the app reliable.
  • Payment data: handled by our payment processor; we never store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To translate your content and return results to you.
  • To operate, secure, and improve LinguaGo.
  • To send service-related emails (receipts, important account notices).
  • To respond when you contact support.

3. Data Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Stored data is encrypted at rest by our cloud providers. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

4. Third-Party Services

To run LinguaGo we use a small number of trusted providers:

  • Hosting & database (cloud infrastructure).
  • Payment processing for subscriptions.
  • APIs that process your text to generate translations.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

5. Data Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Translated content is discarded immediately. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless we’re legally required to keep it longer.

6. Your Rights

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us and we’ll take care of it.

7. Children

LinguaGo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We’ll update the “Last updated” date when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
